I've finally got round to posting this by remembering to do so while actually online

.
Lucy & I went to Toran last Saturday evening and really enjoyed the food, atmosphere & welcome. Neither of us like hot curries so we both had a chicken korma, one with rice/plain naan and the other with garlic naan. As a starter we'd had poppadoms with very well presented/tasty dips while later on we shared a chocolate ice cream pudding. We were both full & I was glad to have decided against having chips (don't do rice!) as wouldn't have had room for pudding (they also provide a free chocolate as you leave).
Toran is in the old Little Chef on the A36 near Codford and what a job they've done to refit the place : it is very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated - one of the waiters was kind enough to ask if we wanted to move due to the sun being in my eyes.
We'd definitely go there again and would recommend it to others. They also do takeaway and have a website with a number of photos included...
