Impressive indeed. Do you take pics of people? Weddings etc? Smiley

No I haven't really done much yet, just some landscapes, motorsport and I love ultra close-up photography of bugs etc. Need to practice taking pics of people, but it's early days as I haven't been doing it long.

Look up, you never know what you may see.

These are a few of my favourite, although not best, photos.
1. Frogmore swan family

2. Shapely nature, taken along the Old Dilton track

3. Banging his head on our garden wall

4. Damsel not in distress

Happy :-) !

2 quotes by me....
- Nature is wonderful, you just need the time to stop, look and listen.
- Look up, you never know what you may see.

Harry, the quality of all those pics published, is excellent.
I would love to see you take some pics of our 'new' white horse, when she's finished surgery lol.
Would also be nice for you, and the town if some of them could be commisioned by English Heritage and other organisations that have an interest in the 'White Horse of Westbury'

I've got no interest in making money from it but I am going to be photographing Westbury (and in particular the White Horse) much much more soon, it's a project I've been keen to do since I got my first camera a few years ago but firstly I've been put off by the shocking state of the horse, and secondly I now really have the equipment to do it justice I think, so it's all come together nicely. If they are good enough I would love to display them somehow, probably on the web.

I love the idea of a '4 seasons' montage of the Horse over the next year, I just hope it stays clean enough!

I'm sure all of us wish you good luck with your project Harry.
I know for one, that I would love to see the results of a '4 season' montage of the area

Does anyone remember Fez was doing something similar on the previous WT site?  He was photographing the same landscape from the same spot over the year.

Perhaps he can let us know how he got on whenhe returns.

Thanks for that, I will set an account up this week.

One I took in Westbury at the weekend that is not for the squemish or those suffering from arachnophobia, very close-up pictures.... http://chrisharrison.smugmug.com/photos/101283130-L.jpg

Those are excellent.  I would ask you for a copy to hang on the wall, but I'm sure Claire wouldn't let me!

If you mean the abseiling picture, then I guess so.  It looks fine here.
