There's been an advert on the telly recently which has to be the most poorly acted commercial I've ever seen but the problem is I can't remember which one it is and haven't seen it for the last week or so. I'm trying to find it on youtube to show Karen.

It's an advert for something like life insurance.

There are probably 10 little clips of people talking about losing (loved ones I think) and it's very badly acted.

The dialogue is something along the lines of "when Dad died we etc etc" and "we didn't know what to do" or "how to cope."

If anyone sees this can they please let me know what it is they're advertising and I can go and look for it.

Most of those genre of adverts are pretty badly acted tho  Tongue

Yay!
I just saw it.
The latest one does start "when Dad died" and features some of the same actors?? as this older one.
This older one is the one I was talking about.

Watch this and tell me these people come across as both/either sincere or good actors. Surely whoever signed this off could see how completely rubbish it all was.
As an advert would it serve it's purpose?

Yes, talking about the poor acting and nothing more. I have no definitive knowledge of what they sell as I type.
I'm sure they didn't cast c-r-a-p actors thinking "that'll increase sales"
