Well, I've managed to tuck myself up right royally ish.
I have an interview tomorrow for a job. (Please no comments of good luck as I'm superstitious about these things. Bad luck or congratulations can be forthcoming after 3pm tomorrow afternoon however.) The salary is a third of what I have been earning for the last 20 years or so and I think that even when I came out of school my first real job was better paid. They've stated I may have to undertake a small practical task lol and all for a pittance of pay. The job market is seriously messed up but I need to get back into work.
I have the interview at 1.45pm and it's about 16 miles away from my home. The problem is that I've just 15 minutes ago, sold my bloomin' car. So now I have to go all suited and booted and sit on a flippin bus getting sweaty and hot. I couldn't turn down the sale of my car 'cos it was too good not to.
I know plenty of people do this every day but I want to get to the interview calm and cool. Afterwards I don't mind doing so if I have to.
Mind you (and this is 100% true) it's for a position within a buddhist company so if I let them know I sold my car it might stand me in good
stead.

Anyone got any buddhist do's and dont's?
