I keep on about libraries - I went to Westbury Library this morning and they were so welcoming, friendly and useful in finding more books for my grand-daughter. When I was growing up, libraries (in my case in Barking, London) were vital to my reading. I couldn't wait to join the senior library (they kindly let me in a year or two early) and used the school library (I was a Monitor I think) a lot too. I hadn't thought they would be under threat.
