Both my children attend Bitham Brook & I am very happy with the school.
I am sorry to hear your problems Emz but keep working with the teachers & I am sure it will sort itself out.
With regard to the problems you had Myangel, I presume this must have been many years ago. A school is only as good as its staff and I doubt many (if any?) of the staff who were there then are still there now. The Head has certainly changed since then I know.
We all know of parents who have taken pupils out of schools locally for various reasons (I know a couple who were dissatisfied with Westbury Juniors for example), but this does not make them bad schools. It just means that parents are seeking the best school to suit their child, which is what we all do, isn't it?

Good luck with Mr Kimberly emz, make sure you use the word "bullying" when you ask the office for an appointment, it seems to fast track you based on friends experiences. Both cases I know of were actually dealt with pretty well after being reported. Hope it gets sorted.

All that man seems to do is take the easy option with the kids from dysfunctional families/minority backgrounds and side with them instead of listening to children who need help. I am sorry to say I will never ever recommend THAT school to anyone at the moment, not until there is a great improvement there. And I can only see that happening with he leaves

Kayleigh hun, its not the TA's I have the problem with, nor in fact in particular some of the teachers, but I do think Mr Hatt is not all hes cracked up to be, many many parents I know are not happy with the school, many many children have had problems that are swept under the carpet, and there are MANY children who get away with murder at that school. For example, bringing a BB gun into school, lighters into school, using mobiles in lessons, punching 5 year olds in the face (YES a year 6 did that and got away with it) kicking my son and making him out to be a liar, need I go on? ?!!!!

emz im sorry you are having trouble with bullying towards your little girl.. go straight to the head..bypass t he teacher and if you get no joy from him ( and he seems a nice fair man i must admit, i have had a couple of dealings with him inthe past year) if you still get no joy then demand to see the governors and see what they say. i dont kow who they are now, but they used to be fairly upstanding people and had good judgement.... if still no joy there is always the local educationoal authority who actually runs the schools

I am so sorry to hear about the problems some of your children encountered at Bitham Brook, Yes i agree many years ago when it first opened i had heard the Headmistress in charge then was so awful that alot of teachers left because of her , The ofsted report was terrible but since MR KIMBERLEY came to the school he has changed it dramatically the teachers have been at the school for some years so that says alot and the ofsted report is very good I am confidant that your issue of bullying will be rectified. Please keep me posted boneyM

I am sorry to hear that Emz has removed her comments as the Headmaster was aware of them. This is a Forum for people to express their opinions whatever that opinion is, if someone has a personal experience which differs from someone else it is not for us to judge surely but to take on board their comments. I hope this issue is being dealt with as you wish Emz regarding the School?
