I havent touched the "W.R" since a friend of mine years ago told me she was sat on the top floor and saw into the kitchen. Apparently they were scraping the salads onto new plates of food, picking stuff that had been dropped on the floor and back onto plates, etc etc all the old wives tales you hear. Still its definately not the place it used to be.
As for recommendations, its not exactly "dining out" but Checkers do a mean Prawn salad roll. Loads of prawns etc etc so no skimping on any of the ingredients. yum yum.

Actually yes Checkers is great for a sarnie.... and they are very generous with the fillings.... still cannot bring myself to go in the Cabin and eat....   |

The Cabin Café is in the High Street. The one you are thinking of in Warminster is called The Gorge. Not sure if it has the same owners.

Unfortunately I went into the Gorge when I came down to check out houses before I moved here. I also went into the Cabin after I'd moved. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.Never again. Not too good. I must've passively smoked about 50 cigarettes on each occassion.And I don't even smoke. I'll live 21 minutes less now.  |

I guess every town has a cafe for it's smoking population who can not have a cup of tea without needing to spark up. Each to their own. I don't know what will happen when smoking is banned in these establishments?
